Short version: as of November 2026, CoinGate's Standard plan lists a 1% payment processing fee, and crypto payouts cost €0.50 + 0.5% (€0.50 + 1.5% with conversion). ePayVista charges 1% and sends each payment straight to a wallet only you control. The only other cost is a small network gas reimbursement, and on card orders the buyer pays the card provider's fee.

What a payout really costs
On CoinGate's published Standard pricing, a payment is charged 1% when it is processed, and moving it out as a crypto payout adds €0.50 + 0.5%, or €0.50 + 1.5% if it is converted. Free crypto and SEPA withdrawals have a €50 minimum. Enterprise plans have custom fees that CoinGate does not publish.
ePayVista has no balance and no payout step. Each order gets its own payment address, and the funds are forwarded to your wallet as the payment confirms, minus 1% and a small gas reimbursement. Compare more gateways on our fees comparison.
Where CoinGate is the better fit
- You want euros in a bank account. CoinGate lists free SEPA withdrawals. ePayVista settles only in USDC or USDT to your wallet.
- Most of your buyers are outside the US. ePayVista fully supports US merchants selling to US customers, and card payments elsewhere are not guaranteed.
- You want customers to pay in many different coins. ePayVista settles in USDC and USDT only.
Where ePayVista is the better fit
- US customers paying by card. Pay by card (Stripe, with Apple Pay and Google Pay) and Pay with Coinbase, from $5. Your customers never touch crypto.
- You want to keep your margin. The card provider's fee is on the buyer's receipt, so a card order costs you 1% plus a small network gas reimbursement.
- You want nothing held. Each payment is forwarded to your own wallet as it confirms. There is no balance to freeze and no withdrawal step.
- High-risk stores. No application and no underwriting. Every merchant pays the same 1%.
How to switch from CoinGate
- Download the ePayVista plugin (or install it from WordPress.org) and activate it next to CoinGate. Not on WooCommerce? Use payment links or the free REST API with signed webhooks.
- Paste a USDC or USDT wallet address you control (a self-custody wallet, not an exchange deposit address) and click Connect. There is no application to wait on.
- Run a real test order of $5 or more and check what lands in your wallet.
- Keep CoinGate on while you compare, withdraw any remaining CoinGate balance, then turn the old gateway off. More answers in the FAQ.
