This Privacy Policy explains how ePayVista ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use epayvista.com, our WooCommerce plugin, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

1. Information we collect

Information you provide. If you join a waitlist or contact support, we collect the information you submit, such as your email address.

Merchant configuration. The plugin stores your settlement wallet address and gateway settings on your own WordPress server. We process the wallet address solely to route settlements you initiate.

Transaction data. To process a payment, the gateway handles order amount, currency, and payment status. Card details are handled by the payment interface at the point of capture and are not stored by ePayVista.

WooCommerce plugin data. When you connect the ePayVista Payments plugin to your store, your store name, store URL, administrator email address, and the payout wallet address you provide are sent to ePayVista to provision your processor account. When a customer checks out, the order total and the customer's email address are sent to ePayVista to create the payment, and the customer completes the payment on our hosted checkout.

Chrome extension data ("ePayVista Payment Links"). The extension collects information only when you actively use it, and only to operate its features. If you create an account from the extension, the name, email address, password, optional business name, and payout wallet address you enter are sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) to pay.epayvista.com to create your merchant account. When you create a payment link, the amount and any description you enter are sent to pay.epayvista.com to generate the link. When you check a payment's status or use the Recover missed funds tool, your account credentials authorize those requests. The extension stores two things on your own device using Chrome's storage: your payout wallet address (synced across your Chrome profile if Chrome sync is on) and your recent payment-link history (kept only on that device, and only the most recent entries). You can clear both at any time by removing the extension. The extension contains no analytics or advertising trackers, cannot read your browsing history, tabs, cookies, or the content of any website, and communicates exclusively with pay.epayvista.com. It never collects data in the background: nothing is transmitted unless you click an action in the extension.

Technical data. Like most websites, our servers log standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used for security and to operate the Services.

2. How we use information

To provide, operate, and improve the Services, including routing settlements to the wallet address you configure.
To respond to support requests and send service communications you request (such as waitlist notifications).
To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues.
To comply with applicable legal obligations.

3. What we don't do

We do not sell your personal information.
We do not take custody of your funds. Settlements are pushed directly to wallet addresses you control.
We do not store cardholder data on our systems.

4. Cookies and analytics

Our website (epayvista.com) uses essential cookies required for the site to function, plus Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage and a Meta (Facebook) pixel to measure advertising. These tools may set cookies and receive standard technical data such as your IP address and pages visited; they process it under their own privacy policies (Google and Meta respectively). You can block them with standard browser controls or ad blockers without affecting the Services. The Chrome extension, the hosted checkout, and the merchant dashboard contain no analytics or advertising trackers.

5. Data sharing

We share information only in these cases: with infrastructure providers that help us operate the Services (hosting, email delivery, and blockchain network access providers), each bound to use it only to provide their service to us; with Google Analytics and Meta as described in section 4, for the website only; when required by law or valid legal process; or to protect the rights, safety, and security of ePayVista, our merchants, or the public. We never sell or rent personal information, and we never share it for third-party advertising or purposes unrelated to the Services. Blockchain transactions (amounts, wallet addresses, and transaction identifiers) are, by their nature, recorded on public ledgers and visible to anyone.

5a. Data storage and security of account data

Account and transaction data is stored on access-controlled servers. All data moves over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Passwords are stored only as salted hashes, never in plain text; API credentials are encrypted at rest. Payment card details never touch our systems (section 3). Data is retained per section 6, and you can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by emailing [email protected] from your account email address.

6. Data retention

We retain information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law. Waitlist emails are deleted upon request.

7. Security

We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; you are responsible for safeguarding your own wallet keys.

8. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact [email protected].

9. Children

The Services are intended for business use and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance.
